NEST

The nest is a tropical envelope incorporating vernacular housings features that can provide proper shelter from weathering in a tropical climate. The envelope is inspired by atap roofing from Malay traditional huts as well as Hoggatabad found in Iran. The surface of the pavilion is weaved together with bamboo that guides the rainfall to the edge while ensuring the integrity of the structure.
