This study of microclimate focuses on the direction and intensity of sunlight exposure in a courtyard. The response to the environment led to a metallic rattan sun shading dome that modifies the sunlight exposure through reflection and diversion of sunlight with thermally responsive metallic weave for a safe and pleasant sunbathing experience.
